Nice install. SPOD has what they call the HD panel. Still push buttons but not rocker switches that is really nice too.
I think this is a great thread to educate people on options- both switch pros and SPOD being the leaders of the pack when it comes to this stuff.
CB is a thing of the past. For the same money/hardware investment ones capabilities are miles apart (literally!) from CB to GMRS. Having 40 watts is incomprehensible until you have it- and the price point in my opinion is a no Brainer.

Its true- but it makes everything so much easier to manage, swap out and add new things (which I promise you will want to do!). Look at some sPOD videos on youtube, there are so many ways to mount the "brains" of the unit. Under a seat, under the hood etc. And the nicest thing is its solid...
Can I propose a parts buy/sell/swap? I've got a number of things (one of which you know! LOL) that I've got for sale and would much rather have it go to a local owner instead of shipping them.

another option is the sPOD. They make a number of truck specific units but also many general units. I compared both the sPOD and Switch Pros. For a novice doing wiring and adding accessories, SPOD was much easier.
