I would prefer a more “martial version” of the Medallion. So we can have our number on it? Which means we pay for it. Decals. I have more than enough
If.
I am pleasantly surprised at how much fun off road TheBeast is. I’ll get it done just in time for her to take it over. But it will be rock solid. Then I can get my SUV version!!
DW calls it her money pit. Though, truth be told, it’s in pretty good shape. Some cosmetics, and upgrades and it will be better than my H3 which is da bomb. But once you get the little things done, it runs nicely.
For the record, DW is “Dear Wife”
I need to put mine on still. Was thinking in rear above H2, but think I like this one better. Thx.
Put 35” Firestone Destination X/T. Had great luck with the M/T version on the H3 on my trip to the Arctic Ocean. I don’t have steps, but found a set of Hummer OEM, but you know, they’re spendy.
Really nice. Love it. Gotta get a full suv next year. I really need the room.
Good news, the dealer has gone through it and is very happy. I call her TheBeast. Got a warranty on her just in case. Next month or so will do the 90K so they’ll really go through it. Getting the electronics...
Dear Wife. (Don't want a divorce - she'll take the H2)
my 2006 SUT Luxury has a fantastic sound system and TV monitors already in the headrest. <87M. It's already had the LED upgrades outside and in done. They "upgraded" the factory radio but it's not to my liking so...
1. upgrading to...
Good to see. I just bought an 2006 H2T Luxury <87M to compliment the H3. This is now my new project-or as the DW calls it, money pit. Started upgrading the electronics inside. Started with a new set of tires. Firestone Destination X/T. This fall will redo the front end and suspension. No...
Should be pretty straight forward as long as I have the appropriate forms filled out, and the H&K Pardner I got at a pawnshop for 120.00 meets the allowed standards-which It does. I’ll be taking Bessie (TT ) as well. A few rounds of 00, some slugs, and my fav in bear country, Brenneke Black...
Not sure I will be able to make the trip to Canada (Tuk) this year with the pandemic and border closures, but if I do, my plan has always been to to take a shotgun, since we will be doing mostly boondocking in pretty isolated locations.
I too am a coffee-holic. Have friends who roast. Have an added spigot in my kitchen since for filtered hot water. I French Press. I pour what I don’t drink into a Stanley to keep it warm. On the road it makes it easy. I have a hand grinder for TT when traveling.
My opinion is that everyone of us should do what we feel is right for ourselves-cause in the end, we are each of us responsible for ourselves. Stuff can happen, anywhere, anytime. I like to be prepared. I’m the king of the Plan B, personally and professionally.
Thank you for your service. I too took that oath-as a young man. I stand by it at this age. But then, we’re really straying away from the subject matter. Let’s not make this a smaller Facebook please.
