I'm looking for any version of the iPad mini with GPS for running Hema Maps. Needs to be in perfect working condition, but I don't mind scrapes or scratches in the case.
I went to this rally last year and had a great time. Noone is going to laugh at your rig. There is a little of everything that shows up from Subarus with a RTT to monster RV type platforms that look like they were part of some kind of DIY welding competition.
I'm thinking it would be very convenient, every once in a while, to be able to get OTA television while on/off the road. Does anyone have some kind of solution for this that works on your overland rig? Something small that feeds video to an iPad or smartphone would be ideal.
Thanks,

My Yeti 400 has been able to provide 2+ days worth of power to my ARB fridge on an 80+ degree weekend at the NW Overland Rally last summer in Plain, WA. I am also looking for some good solar panels to supplement the Yeti's battery. It seems that Goal Zero's solar panels are a bit overpriced.
I'm also wondering which size Mr. Heater I would need. Can the Little Buddy do the job of keeping the RTT and annex warm or do I need one of the two larger sizes?
I have a CVT Mt. Shasta with the annex. I'm wondering if a Mr. Heater would sufficiently and safely heat the annex and the sleeping area of the tent overnight in subfreezing weather. Is there a good reason to not use a Mr. Heater in a CVT or is there a better heating solution?
Thanks for any...
An M1101/2 is also probably wider than your JK. A trailer wider than the tow vehicle seems ... suboptimal. My DD and overland rig is a '96 Hummer. I chose this trailer because it's the exact same width as my truck and the tires/wheels are the same, so my 1 spare tire can fit either.
I have a 2015 Specialized Enduro Carbon Expert 29". Love this bike, and yes, mountain biking and overlanding do go great together. Here are my wife's and my bikes in my Humvee trailer behind my '96 Hummer.
I primarily ride in northwest Washington State.

Haven't done much modification to this other than have a custom rack built for my CVT tent. Not sure yet if I want to do some kind of enclosed bed cover or just use the trailer like a pickup bed. Would love to see other M1101...
My wife and I are looking for some areas to enjoy on the Olympic Peninsula next week. We'd like to take our dog and find space for him to run. Are there any good dispersed camping areas that aren't in the National Parks that we should visit?
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
-Matt
