My LP9 pros are white lights combo and the squadron pros are Amber in a combo pattern. The amount of light the Baja designs throw compare to my own set up is staggering, so the amount of lighting you're putting on your vehicle it's going to be incredible.
Grab yourself a GoPro 7 and a Ram mount with suction cup and you're good to go. I stick mine right to the inside of the windshield and can move it around depending on what I'm trying to capture. The mount it very stable, and any little shaking from the mount is negated by the GoPro 7's picture...
I removed the Rigid fog lights and light bar, and the Lightforce 170s I had on the bumper and replaced them with new Baja Designs LP9 Pros and Squadron pros. The difference in light output is staggering. Until recently I've been a big Rigid Industries fanboy, but recently I've been putting...
Like the title states, I'm looking for recommendations for June camping the southeast US. Ideally, I'll be staying in KOA style camp grounds during the trip. My wife and I were supposed to be heading to Utah this summer, driving my FJ and sleeping in our rooftop tent, but schedules have...
I run it off the battery of the vehicle. I installed a 12V socket on the rear of the center console for the fridge. All I do is run the fridge at its high battery setting to keep it from draining the battery too much. I only use the vehicle half the week because I have a take home vehicle for...
I have one on Expedition Portal, and I believe one on here, but Facebook keeps changing my picture paths so after a month the pictures disappear. You can follow the build on Jade_Overland on Instagram though. If you see anything you have a question on just let me know.
My 2008. I bought it stock in 2011 and have been toying with it the last few years. Fantastic vehicle that has taken my wife and I all over the country.
I've done a few things for the inside of the FJ to make it easier to use on trips and while wheeling.
Rear drawer to keep all the gear: Better Built drawer with a top I made so the dogs have somewhere to stand.
Also took out the back seat since no one ever used it and made a flip up rear...
If you're with a big group, and no one is afraid of being offended or offending someone else, Card Against Humanity is our favorite time waster when sitting around a fire pit with friends.
We were there from Thursday through Monday and had a great time. Camped at the KOA East and if anyone plans on going next year and not staying on site I highly recommend it. The show was a good time, and my wife and I really enjoyed the classes we took. We will definitely be going back in the...
Thanks! I'm in Minneola. We should be getting whacked here in the next hour. So far the house is handling it, but the wind is starting to creep me out. The FJ is in the garage pushed up against the door, and my patrol car blocking wind parked across the driveway. At this point I'm just...
This is my first Expo. Looking forward to meeting you folks and checking out all the vendors. I have scheduled a ton of classes so I'm sure we'll run into you all. My buddy and I are coming in from Orlando (assuming this hurricane isn't catastrophic) meeting my parents and staying in the KOA...
Ace Cafe located in down town Orlando has a truck/jeep/off road event every third Wednesday. August 16 is the next event. Thought it would be cool to get a bunch of OB rigs together and do a local meet and greet, grab some food and check out the rigs.
It would be nice if the folks going to...
KOA East Asheville. They have one west of the Biltmore as well, but the one east has spots with a river behind it and a lake in front, so I nabbed 3 for my group.
