    Wheeling/overlanding solo

Salty snacks for me. I'm not much for sweets. Maybe those Costco nuts, salt and dark chocolate bars. Solo-trips out for me are vital. Time to reflect on life & make decisions without distraction. Finding a campsite far from others, taking a hike where you don't see another soul, cresting a hill...

    Another Lowe’s trail build !

I get that. When the hacks start to add up you are begging for trouble.

Is Goose Gear worth the money?

I'm curious if anyone has ever used old server rails instead of buying new drawer slides. The ones that come off of the storage arrays are really damned beefy.

What about an Overland Bound singles section?

I think my 4Runner is dating my Thruxton. I was afraid to ask, though.. thought it would make it weird.

    Storage Box on Roof Racks

I don't carry boxes, but I do carry a couple of half height jerry cans up on my Yakima LoadWarrior. I use rachet straps. I always keep 10 or so in my rig stored in a Harbor Freight zip bag. Most of my straps have been cut down and the end bummed to stop fraying.. around 6' I think. Gas cans...

    What is the one spice

This spice blend is insanely good. Makes the best avocado toast (yes, I'm from So Cal).

    1994 Toyota 4Runner

I had challenges with my K&N Cold Air Intake (It was there when I bought it.. long story). I ended up getting an aftermarket MAF (JET 69148 Mass Air Sensor). After that, tip top. I do stress every time I come across water, though.

Camp Cooking help if you need it.....

I put all the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, etc into a used 16oz water bottle. Makes breakfast a snap. I kinda hate single use containers, so sometimes I'm out and that is the available water, I save the bottle just for this use.
