It does really depend on your style of camping that would dictate the kind of outfitting you'll be doing on your rig. But with that much truck, you could put just about anything on it and still have the power, suspension and room for more. I'm with @MMc, keep it simple, and work up from there...

We (wife and i) are trying to get our schedules cleared up for a trip October-ish.

Cooked this up with the ol Weber charcoal grill and discada. Worked pretty good! Good even heat around the whole disc.

Let me know when you head up that way, I live just off of 288 south of high 6. I almost have my trailer semi camp ready. Another week or two and I should be ready to rock and roll... might even do some camping.

I couldn't justify the price either. I found a Discada/ Cowboy wok on an online ag supply site. And I already had a camp chief 2 burner, so I didnt need another burner. The 22'' disk cost roughly $55. There are YouTube videos on how to make one for less than $100.

Lol, that is my niece, and I'm not sure what she was doing back there. That was a trip to central Idaho we took 2 years ago.

I do not have any experience with either of these, but I've seen several people take them off of their rigs. They claim it just as easy to open one of the doors to access the roof rack. Something to consider, might save you a few bucks to go toward another project.

Potable water w/ pump for shower and dishes. Power for the pump, lights, and portable electronics. I have a 2 burner stove and propane bottle I'm trying to figure out how to mount. This will basically be loaded so we will be trip/adventure ready at a moments notice.
