Also, I owe you an apology on the broken link. It looks like he way the forum turns the Amazon into an affiliate link (amazon.to) link is flagged as "advertising" by the "Disconnect" privacy tool in Chrome. I'm on a lot of forums and I've never had this issue (at worst it'll break the image but...
Thx. I've seen the Beyer. They look solid. I'm hoping to find an 80" (or 81) for the sweet spot of fitting me and maybe being able to fit a gazelle t3.
Much appreciated!
Your link's broken. I'm 6'6 so I'm interested in tall-friendly cots.
edit: sorry, link is not "broken" . It's just the way the OB software converts links to amazon affliate links -- flags them as advertising and some browser plugins block 'em.
Still broken ;-(

Does this mean two cots is probably a no? (probably)
I'm 6'6. Wife is 5'10. We're done with our backpacking tents and thermarests and are strongly considering the T3 and T4. At the same time, we're on the fence between two cots (at least one would be 80") or one of those biggie Exped double...

Thank you. Yes, the Syncro is dearly missed and at the same time I'm very glad it's gone ;-)
And thank you for the invite. I can't make that meet up, but I'll watch for others.
Jumping in to say, Wow. What a great build. Thanks for the inspiration. As a super tall guy with tall teens I'm thinking the Sequoia needs to go on the maybe list!
This is a really inspiring thread. I'm brand new here and just starting to look into getting a rig. The practicality of the Pilot (comfy on road, plenty good for my needs off road) has really resonated with me. Thanks for sharing this. I'm going to look into pilots now.
Hi Folks -- brand new (as in I just discovered the site last night) member from Puget Sound/Washington state. I'm currently without an overlandable vehicle but I'm feeling the itch. My last rig was a VW Syncro Westy with Subaru engine and gobs of upgrades. I love that thing but I spent waaay...
