I love how this is perfect for your needs, which makes it a great build. I have some t-slot and connectors from an old work test set-up. Looking for inspiration for my 5th Gen 4Runner. Thanks for sharing.
I plan to use the little one that came with it. Should be good for my needs. That said, I just did a power-up and found no traffic in my area before dinner yesterday. All I could listen to was an NOAA weather feed.
I'm hoping people use GMRS outside of their little groups.
I also just saw this on Facebook. Ken from Willow Grove (SEPA). I'm also in NEPA fairly often. I have an evolving 4Runner that enjoys exploring with me. My dog also likes the adventures.
Perfect location for me as a PA tag-a-long. Fun place to start and wheel around Wharton, but I have an important charity event that day for a close friend. I wish all a fantastic meet and ride. - Ken
I was so confused when you found me this morning. Nice to meet my first OB member on trail. Where'd you go after lunch?

We'll be on the other side but still at AOAA. I have my red 2016 4Runner and will be with an old red G-wagen. Happy trails @Blackcrest

Just saw your post. Welcome! I'm out in Willow Grove, a short 90 minutes from you.
Targeting AOAA on 8/12 with the Central NJ crew if you're interested. You are certainly close enough.

@Lipek The last time my wife and I rode through, drove the sandy roads/trails from Atsion to Batsto. Your governor had all of NJ closed that day, so no bathroom breaks at either.
I have a fairly long honey-do list this weekend and will probably do more of a spontaneous ride. Don't want to hold...
@Lipek not sure if you saw that there is a 1,000 acre fire raging in Wharton. Seems to be partially contained.
Always sad if started by stupidity. Often part of the life cycle in these dry forests.
What time are you thinking of going? I may free up until early afternoon. I've ridden Wharton twice.
Besides, I like a nice red 4Runner.

You'll need to have decent knowledge of your Jeep in soft terrain. I (or others) can help. I seem to spend a lot of time thinking about recovery after getting my 4Runner very stuck when I bought it in December. I carry a lot of gear for trails. No worries.

Very pretty, but not technical in most areas. Tough spots are washouts and deep, soft sand. Easy to have fun AND stay on legal sand roads.

Welcome Tom. I like the 4Runner and adventure setup. I'm also up in NEPA a lot. Hope to meet up if you're interested.
