I had one for a long time. Was great but my truck sat for a long time waiting for me to finish it. I didn't have the money for another when I finished it so I got a cheap Walmart battery. Has been good for the last couple years but I also have a 200 amp alternator.
There aren't too many trails in the white mountains as it is national forest. Vehicle travel is prohibited off road there. Mostly in the western part of the state are the class 6 roads that aren't maintained. It's mud season until the end of May and some towns June. That means they're closed...

Yup. Sounds like something in the ignition system is not happy. My blazer did the something. Turned out being a cracked distributer cap. It was small enough that I overlooked it a few times. Old wires too.
