I'm reading and hearing more and more people on YouTube and these forums moving from RTT to ground tents. I don't have an RTT and was thinking that I wanted one, but the more research I do, the less I want one. I think you have a point with being able to stand in a tent. For the longest time, I...
Thanks, much appreciated. I kind of want to do a roof rack on the PW, but I don't know. With the shell, RTT, roof rack, and gear mounted, it might be too much up high.
Which rack did he get and how did you guys mount it? I went to their website and can't find anything Ram (or even generic fitment) to go with. Although, I imagine with a little creativity you can mount any roof rack to any car.
I was shopping for one too for my last truck. I'm not sure this is the best option, but it seems very good. Smittybilt makes a roof rack which I read mixed reviews on. The one thing everyone seems to agree to is get the welded together version rather than the bolt together version. Here is a...

Yeah, I agree 100% with that. I didn't mention winch or shovel, because I already have them. I read a lot on get as you see that you need it. Right now, I don't see me doing any serious off roading, but you're right. I do need to be able to get out of a situation if I do get in too deep.
Ahh, the age old question. I have quite a few reasons for that. First, it's not available for the Power Wagon. I've always wanted a the 6.7L Cummins but the truth for me at least is that I work from home and the majority of my drives are very short and I wouldn't be able to treat the diesel as...
lol, I know, I know. It's just such a hard thing for me to get over. I used to be a detailer, and a bit of OCD to go along with it makes things like that hard for me to let go of. I said the same thing with my last (lost cause) truck "aww, I'm not even going to sweat the pin striping". Yeah, I...
