Prather Shell has Diesel. But it is only 60 miles of pavement each way from Madera, plus 20 each way to trail head and about 20 miles of offroad. So 180 total round trip to Madera. Fuel should not be an issue if you fill in Madera where we meet up.

Do not worry, I typically pull my chaser with an 80. I can only run 55 uphill. So by the time we get there, there will not be a line for check in.

97 with 205,000, 255/85s, drawers, lift, rack, frig, dogs, wife, arb frt, Hannah rear bumper....10 mpg highway. With chaser trailer less than 9 mpg.

FYI SNOTEL is showing about 5 feet of snow at 9000 feet just down the road. Corral Hollow goes up to about 8000 feet. And that would not be any drifts in the trees. Good trail, has a good camp site above the ski run and some farther west along the ridge. I think I have been through in...
