I bought the Goose Gear Plate for the JKU.
Totally worth it.
Great product.
However after appreciating their craftsmenship it challenged me to make one myself as a learning experience.
I have spent more in tools now than it would have cost me to install their entire system.
Including their camp...
I avoided the 2 battery setup because of the complexity. Then I was going to use just a single Group 31 battery and bypassed that too.
I just decided not to involve my cranking battery at all.
I may revisit this later but i like the simplicity of having a separate lithium battery with a built in...
I just added 100w Renogy to my Jeep for the Dometic PLB40 and a Snomaster CL56D.
I had to make some brackets form 16g steel (Lowes) to attach it to my roof rack.
Used a CaNibbler to shape them.

my requirement was it had to hold at least 2 gallons of milk...what's the point of spending that much money on a 12v fridge if you cant even use it to go to the grocery store.
Probably because the cooling coils go all the way to the top on the SnoMaster and the insulation is thicker.
Still I had trouble deciding between the ARB 50 and the SnoMaster.
I priced the ARB about the same as a SnoMaster when you consider the new model (Series 2) comes with bluetooth.
