    Air down...or else

I will second this, airing down would not have prevented this failure. maybe made it a little smoother upon impact. This sounds like a worn component or over extended issue to me. My best guess is that when you dropped over the ledge your stock length sway bar links blew out due to the...

    Tubbsisland's SDHQ Built 2017 4x4 TRD Off-Road

Picked her up on September 8th. 2017 TRD Off-Road 4x4 with Premium and Tech and Katzkin Leather Seats. By September 18th we had her into the shop for some R&D on some new production items: Once that was done it was over to the opposite side of the shop for the full treatment...

    Arizona Overlanders

send me a link! more than willing to lead a few trips or set up some hang outs here at the shop if hanging out in a parking lot is the norm. I used to set something up pretty much every other week way back in the day for the TacomaWorld crew.

wish I would have seen this earlier, but a retail parking lot meet up sounds a little boring. At least go somewhere with food or drink available

    2017 TRD Pro Tacoma

So far I'm happy with the 3.5, my truck only has 800 miles on it but my ladys truck just rolled 15k and is doing well. The 3.5 is a different feel than the 4.0, it lacks a little on the low end but picks up nicely higher in the RPM range where I felt the 4.0 was a little torquier. Time will...

    2017 TRD Pro Tacoma

Yes the 2nd Gen TRD Sports had an 8.4" ring gear and the Off-Roads had an 8". This is why I bought a sport back when I got my 2008, ran an ARB for years without an issue until I swapped in the fully fabricated 9" with a Detroit. To be honest I'm not sure if this trend carried over to the new...

Thanks! Shoot me a PM and I'll get one set aside for you. Its not easy or really feasible to keep my Ipad out of direct sunlight and you want it mounted as high up as possible to keep your eyes up and on the road. My 2017 will have a much different setup

I understand that, but leaving air bags in a vehicle with a full cage is pointless, let alone dangerous. The entire system has been removed, still trying to think of something fun to do with the un exploded bags :smilingimp:

Truck is completely caged, all airbags have been removed. Thought that would be pretty easy to identify with the intercom mounted in the factory air bag location...

No 1000 for me, I got asked to go by a couple teams but I'm finishing up my last semester of school after living the Van Wilder program for a few years so that takes precedence this year.

I would save the money in dealer markup and go TRD OR, you're going to pay a huge premium for items that you can either build better for cheaper or simply dont need. I'm just about finished with the build on my 2017 TRD OR, paid $500 over invoice and after all the work I'm doing I'll still...

You obviously don't live anywhere hot haha. Apple devise overheating is a common thing out here. 20 minutes in front of the AC and you're normally good to go. I've had it happen to my phone just sitting on the trans tunnel on my E30

Its not apps but functions that draw power. Brightness all the way up to see during the day, bluetooth and GPS on will drain it pretty quick even in AirPlane mode which is how it should be. Plugged in it holds pretty well but still drains. My iPad in standby will last 10 days or so.
