Need a strong roof rack for a Jeep JK

You look like you’re running the sport vs the pro rack. Have you ever run it with the soft top? Is it relatively quick to disconnect the front bars and raise them to allow for the soft top to be opened?

LOD looks solid. Is it a body or frame mount?

Need a strong roof rack for a Jeep JK

Thanks. I like the look of the pro better, but want to retain the ability to drop the soft top. I’ll have a look at the KMS sport rack, i think that’s designs to be a bit easier to release the spreader bars.

Im leaning heavily towards a Scout as well. I run a home made trailer now and its been good for us, but there is just too much I want to modify and change to make it what we need for a family of 4. I’d rather spend my weekends adventuring than starting a build/ heavily moding again. Is everyone...

Welcome to the group! Looks like the camper you built was pretty stout. Always hard to let go of the home built stuff, but the RTT’s are pretty awesome. Either way, as long as you like to get out and adventure you’ll fit in very well here.
