There is a place south of the waterfall, has a pond with some goldfish in it. Some people could camp there, not sure if it could hold 9 rigs but its close and secluded. We can figure it out for Saturday. Thursday, every camper for themselves i guess, and meet Friday morning,
Haha. I always thing FJs are cops because of the white roof for some reason.
Maybe I have another rig with one person, but hes wishy washy, ill tell him if he comes to plan to feed himself.
Can we make a list as to vehicles? Just so we all know who to wait for and what to look for.
My crew:
Orange 2004 Land Rover Discovery
Tan 2016 Tacoma w/ bed cover
Sounds good. I have another rig joining me with two people.
How much firewood everyone think we need? Depending on what happens Saturday night and where everyone ends up camping maybe we need two bundles of wood per each rig to bring.
We could try to get down to trona pinnicles by Saturday night and camp there. I just don't know how manageable it would be starting from the dunes in the morning. Seems like a long way but that would be an awesome spot to camp.
Thanks everyone. Unfortunately Anza borrego got cancelled as I am now going to death Valley with a group but I'll for sure hit these suggestions up someday.
Okay cool. I don't want to mess her up or anything. So if she wants to pick a meal for Friday,I'll be happy to bring whatever you guys want me to to help out.
I'll probably do simple cold cuts for lunch both days and baked breakfast foods. Only question is if we want to do family style dinner. If so what? I have no way to heat food in my rig currently and only bringing a cooler.
Ok sounds good. I was just gonna throw some roast beef and cheese in a cooler and make sandwiches for lunch both days and bring some baked goods for breakfast. Maybe we can do a family style meal on Friday night.
Just called and was finally able to make my camp reservations so I am all set...

Here you will find all the information needed for the trip. I have uploaded GPX files, if someone could try to use them that would be great and tell me if the route shows up. Also, I purchased a small teakettle and engraved my initials into it...
@Gryf So I guess i am just going to drive up Thursday and camp at panamint. Just makes things alot easier for us. Let me know if your solid in getting there Thursday.
