Was thinking of where to post this. Figured this would be the best area to ask.
I live in an apartment and they don't let me do oil changes here. Anyone in the Columbus area have a garage or driveway I could please use? My in-laws are 40minutes away in mount vernon. So the closer the better...
Call her Fortress. Short for The Flying Fortress (B-17) My grandfather was the top gunner in a B-17 so that's where I got the inspiration. I wanted to find out what the nose art was on his plane so I could call it something more fun but haven't found out quite yet. But my Jeep is green and it's...
2008 Jeep JKU Sahara with 126,000. It's my daily and gets some trail use. I worry sometimes because it's a Jeep lol but then again I get over it since I enjoy to tinker.
Thank you!
Yeah I heard tire carrier isn't the best due to signals getting reverberated. The bracket is made in California by a company called CoolTech. You get the bracket, a good 18' coax cable, and an antenna of your choice from their selection. All of it was about $100 I think. It was super...
It's really going to depend on your swr readings. You can adjust it best for the location but may never get down to a good reading. Then if you moved it you can check the swr and adjust it again to make it better (or worse haha)
I have 275/70/18 KO2 and by far the best tire I have had. I do a lot of stuff with mud and they clear out well and have amazing road handling. Also I travel to west Texas a lot for work. A bunch of the oil field trucks run them and the guys just love them. Never heard of any of them getting a...
Most jk owners are oblivious to life and other Jeeps or off-roading lol. I'm a jk owner but dang do a lot of them frustrate me. Hence why this forum rocks. People willing to help people and no brand specific issues. Just all around cool people.
2008 Jeep JKU Sahara. Just recently upgraded to 275/70/18 BFG KO2s. Looking at the OME 2" HD kit soon. But basically stock and just enjoy to take it trail riding and on camping trips of course. Getting my wife into the idea of overlanding and I think it's setting in fine! ;)
Can't wait to see...
On my Jku I installed a Uniden pro 510xl on the driver side of the gear selector. Since it's a compact unit it fits really nice. Then I mounted the mic just behind the windshield washer switch on the dash. Really easy to reach. I did a lot of research on mounts and found a mount by CoolTech. It...
Well finally found some trails near my place! Very over grown but finally got some trail rash. Once you get past the initial scratches it isn't too bad haha.
Main reason I'm posting is a 7,000 mile update on the tires. These KO2s are awesome. They handle so well on road and in gravel roads...
