so I decided to go with a rubbermaid flip top. perfect stacking capability and very tough. I've worked night crew at home depot and days at ups for 7 years now and I totally didn't take these into consideration at first. but I started thinking about it and I've abused and thrown these things...
next month sounds great. I'll probably head out to mojave this weekend got a new shotgun that needs some breaking in. hope everyone can get there rigs up and running, worst feeling in the world to have a down rig :( once a month sounds good to me. I've noticed the north guys meet up twice a...
I've had to use my jerry cans twice. my father in law carrys 4 20l jerry cans on his m1009 k5 and I carry 2 20l jerry cans. we usually drive out to mojave or death valley and you can easily go 100+ miles with no gas stations. a wrong turn and a stranded explorer where the two times we had to...
Mine stays on all the time. Always locked and secured. Usually keep it full and rotate the gas into my tank once a month. I have another vehicle but driving the bronco is more fun so it's become my dd so i like carrying gas for those impromptu trips. Even on trips that I know they'll be plenty...
I use a sterlite box when I go camping to keep my dry foods, utensils, spices etc. The clear sterlite box makes it convenient to be able to see inside without opening it to find what we need.
I also love things to be square and maximize as much room as possible. I think I'm going to pick up some front runner boxes on Friday. Thanks for the input.
This makes me miss my blazer. I had a 02. Ls swapped engine, new Era tuned with a custom grind cam and Yukon posi grip. Loved that thing. Used to love people's reaction off the line. She was the perfect sleeper until they stole it and stripped it. Now I got a baby girl and work nights so can't...
Thank you for checking. Those dimensions are exactly what I need I just would really like to stack them. My future goal is to build a single drawer system taking up about half the width of my cargo area. Than I wanted my fridge
/cooler to take up the other half. And stack two storage boxes on...
That's why I'm really leaning towards getting 2 wolf packs. They stack great and look very well built. I also like the design of them 90° angles so I can use every inch. That's one thing I don't like about the action packers. The corners are round which takes away from available holding power.
So I'm debating between the rubbermaid action Packers and the front runner outfitters wolf packs. They are both stackable which I really like. I want to have two permanent boxes in the back to keep my recovery gear, spare parts, fluids etc. Does anyone have experience with either of these or any...
Added a second 800 watt inverter in the back of the bronco. Also added a fan to keep my daughter cool on long trips so the ac isn't killing my engine on long trips.
Can't wait to see it when it's done. I also want to build a drawer system, just trying to finish a few things first like installing a second inverter in the back and getting everything ready for my dual battery install.
I'm down for the 30th for any of the trails @1BigJimmy mentioned. Since these trails are 2+ hours away from me ill probably camp out the night with the fam.
