I'm running Toyo MT's. 325/75/16".
60K mile warranty. I have E rated and am continually impressed at how well they squat for thick sidewall.
Wear well, a little noisy after 1/2 worn or so.

I have seen them. Very quality product.
RTT does not work because diamond back hinges from center of bed. You won't be able to open it up, so now your bed is pretty limited. You could build a drawer system, but might as well get a camper shell and RTT on that

My jeep club has been doing this for a few years too. Safety clinic, hands on and practice time. About 4 hours of lecture. Everything from trail etiquette to how lockers work to HAM radios to parts to bring. 2 hours of hands on in 3 areas. Hi lift jack/ packing your rig/ and winching. Then 2...
Not sure of plans or dates. If you need some help getting through Northern California or a repair near Bay Area, please let me know. I have a large 4 wheel drive club that would love to be a second rig for a trip like this.
Good luck and be safe.
