Hey Randy I'm a school teacher so I'm off until mid August. I just went out to Sierra Buttes by myself. I usually end up going solo mid week as well. Hit me up if your interested in a trail. I'm in RWC and I usually leave really early for day trips...

I just went up solo to Sierra Buttes off hwy. 49. From there it was north to Deer Lake and then Gold lake 4x4 campground. This route is listed in the Nor. Cal 4x4 guidebook referenced above. Here's a few pics...BTW the Tahoe National Forrest website says Signal Peak is "innaccesible" due to snow...

On all these different MPG threads, I always wonder if people are just reporting the MPG that the vehicle computer tells them. I also wonder how many people take into account how larger tires or lower gears affect their speedometers and odometers....

I got about 40,000 miles out of my KM2's . I only took them in the snow on purpose , seeing as I'm from CA . They were fine in the snow although I was always aired down low ... Road noise was never an issue either , IMO. FWIW I like my Goodyear MT/R's better...
