What is the position of Sierra Club, Wilderness Society, Great Old Broads and a few others that are involved in the conservation fight?
What is their position on OHV trails, mountain bike trails in OUR forest's?
We have a compromise position paper that we have signed with The Wilderness Society...
As a 501.c.3, we are not allowed to act as a PAC, or ask our members to vote for specific candidates.
The IRS has strict rules around what we can and cannot do these days. We work hard to not violate those rules, and have someone in the office that monitors the rule changes and lets us know...
I think if you look at our web site, you will see that we say that Wilderness has it's place.
Lately, some of the Wilderness and Monument designations were done with little to zero input from the local people on the ground in those areas.

My contacts back there that have the Bald trails as their Adopt-A-Trail have cleared the trail of downed tree's.
It should be open this week or by the weekend.
Check with the forest service though.
The road washout is just past the trail head turn-off, so you can still get to the trail.

We need to be better as users of the public lands in highlighting what we do to keep them clean, respect the land and the resources.

I would love to come up to Eastern Washington to wheel.
We use to have an eBay auction, and it did pretty good for us.

The club I was a member of in Cali, every summer helped with a group that took special needs folks to the mountains for a fun filled camping weekend.
Most of the folks would ride in the Jeeps up the mountain and the trail into the camp spot.

I have done a little bit of Geocaching, but not enough to be good at it.
