Welcome, pretty new member here as well and in Irvine. There's an OC Meet thread here: https://www.overlandbound.com/forums/threads/socal-meet-up-in-orange-county.3678/
Hi Overland Bound Peeps,
This will be a bit of an abbreviated build thread so I'll keep it to the basics. I've got a whole WIP thread over on iH8Mud, but hoping OB leads to more trips.
I test drove a used 2014 Land Cruiser off the lot while my Tundra was in for service. Drove the Cruiser home...
Its 4 or 5 years old and has been used a fair amount. No tears and all the zippers work well. The bag is showing some wear, but unless you're headed out this way (southern CA) its pretty impractical to ship.
Yeah, it fits a cot (one of the bigger OZ cots, but just barely.) Also have a lady coming into my life and she's down for some camping so need to make it as comfortable a possible for her ;)
You're not too far away. Could set it up in the garage and you can check it out almost any evening this...
Been lurking for a while, finally joined up for real this week. OB# 3658
How do I get it to show up as a badge now or does it take a couple days?
Will post up an abbreviated build thread this weekend.
Four Corners area, outside of Bluff, UT. August this year. Stock height/street tires.
Pismo Jamboree, Ultimate Yota, Late last month. OME 2" heavy lift, bumper, BFG ATs.

Includes the RV-2, deluxe front panel, and older (solid) style floor saver/footprint, bag and all...
From a couple weeks ago while visiting my parents up over Sonora Pass, CA. They're retired and have been doing campground hosting since then. Great way to spend a few days.

I've been camping out of my yellow chuckbox for a few years. It was built for a larger Coleman stove and carried pretty much everything I may need. Quite a bit of stuff that I didn't really ever use. It was a bit heavy, but it worked really well.
