What kind of knife do you carry on duty? I am looking to add a better knife to my duty carry and off duty carry. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be much appreciated! (Brand name if you can too) thanks!
...starting to make camping difficult.
We decided to plan out a system so we no longer had boxes stacked up in the back and we could set up the kitchen for a brew easier.
This led us to start looking at drawer systems and being of modest means we embarked on a difficult journey for me (I'm...
Made the outer part of the kitchen box today.
Still have a bit more work to do before I can start the pmf process, but overall, it turned out rather good, but I I think.
...as race trucks.
I need to take some pictures of the inside. Here is the only picture I could find that shows a little of it. Shower and kitchen on left. Dirtbikes are where the beds would be. On the right is the crane(in red) that I use to lift the bikes into the back, with a small...
...cost brand new doors.
Supposedly, these doors were purchased new in 2020, but never installed.
I also got some of the plywood cut for the kitchen box yesterday. Getting that finished and assembled today.
I have a 4ft x12ft piece of canvas drop cloth that I bought to try out the pmf...
Frame has been acquired! I'm planning on building the kitchen box this weekend, to test out the pmf process.
I'm working on scoring some doors. Once I get that nailed down, I'll post what I found.
...the version of table i seen is just a cover ( with holes etc) on top of tailgate . and a folding step . so far i have never seen this . a sliding table ( kinda like the kitchen style ) but only on gate ( save space) . here some ruff drawings . what you guys think about it ??? fast made on...

Custom Pelican case storage box

The exterior is covered with a...
NIce, I love those Mopar E-bodies! I thought about a slide out kitchen option on the side of the trailer...not sure though if its worth the effort or even if I will have room after bigger tires and fender
Got the design for the kitchen box worked out. I was hoping to put the faucet in there, but that doesn't look like it's going to work out. If I do put it on the kitchen box, it'll have to be done in a manner similar to my current trailer, which is putting it in an abs junction box. If I did...
That is a nice mod. Could you share some photos of how you made your insert? What of anything would you do differently. Thank you, just looking for ideas to get started.
I can remove it but it is pretty heavy. I used a piece of 3/4” to the top and 1/2” for the vertices and 1/4” for the bottom. The 1/4” for the bottom was a bad idea, it flexes to much, 1/2” would have been better. My platform pretty much lives in the burban now.
in the back of my JK, how much space should I leave around the sides and top of my 12v fridge? Do I need to leave space for airflow to keep the compressor from overheating?
...on putting in the trailer.
I've started ordering parts.
Today, fedex showed up with the first of the hatch doors.
This one is for the kitchen box (the blue box on the side of the trailer). I'm trying to mimic what off grid trailers does with their kitchen:
I just ordered the doors...
I love knives. I bring at least 5 knives when camping. Just because.
2 kitchen knives (chef and paring).
1 outdoor knife (for wood and miscellaneous)
2 pocket knives (wife and I use it as a steak knife)
Also a spear, for fun and defense against a coyote or lion. It's fun throwing it at...
