    Quick & stupid solar question

I'm going to look at a used set of panels that fold up an come with the charger attached. The charger has a digital display on it, so if I set them up and it shows voltage, I should be good to go right? Or do I need to connect a battery to it?

    Overlanding/camping with a CPAP machine

I currently have a philips respironics. My old one is a resemed 7 or 8, and it required pure sine wave

    Overlanding/camping with a CPAP machine

Make sure to check and see if your CPAP required pure sine wave. My original one did, but my new one does not. They even have a 12v adapter for it, which is a lot more efficient than using a inverter.

    Overlanding/camping with a CPAP machine

I did 5 nights without having to recharge my battery on mine. I had a old Optima yellow top. I used a 12v adapter for my cpap machine, along with a 12v alligator clip adapter, and it worked great. Just don't use the humidifier. That is what sucks up all the power.

    Gas can straps

Are there any new fangled gas can straps what work well stopping theft also? Or is everyone just using the basic buckle straps and removing the cans when not in use?

Depending on the age of your kids, Sawtooth Canyon is a great place. Lots of rock formations and stuff to climb.

Anyone convert an old teardrop into something that can handle off-road conditions?

That is some of my worries also, but on the plus side, it is cheap.

Anyone convert an old teardrop into something that can handle off-road conditions?

Has anyone turned an older aluminum tear drop into an off-road capable trailer? I found a old Scud-A-Bout for cheap I am looking at. I'm just not sure how it will hold up off-road. I know I will need to beef up the frame, but the body panels kind of worry me. It's a 60's model, so I'm not sure...

Off road trailer camper or off road van

I'm pretty much at the same point. I'm looking at square drop trailers for ease. I am changing most of my gear over to stuff the goes up and comes down fast. I don't seem to have the opportunity to go out as much as I used to, so I'd rather spend the time I do have enjoying myself and not...

    Has overlanding become elitist ?

Oh stop be an elitist...... and I’m not going to follow you if you don’t share the coordinates..... you proved my point exactly. And this is why I don’t share places with people I don’t know.
