proper cargo tie down on roof rack

I've used cam straps to attach my T4 directly to roof rack and haven't had any issue with it loosening up. I drove 5 hours on the highway to the Mojave Road start, drove the Mojave Road and drove 4 hours home. It was fine.

Glad they got it back. I've had a car stolen before... its a creepy feeling to have somebody violate your things in such a big way.

We mostly stayed home... But we did sneak out to isolate ourselves in some remote places this past year. This was our first year taking the Hummer on trips. We had a blast.

Mojave Preserve Trail Guardian - Tentative Dates "UPDATE 01.17"

Bummer. Missed that. There will still be stuff to see. Just not the deep sky objects. I'll make a separate astronomy event out in the Mojave for folks who are interested. Bring two or three telescopes and stuff.

    Trail Guardian Event, Mojave Road

I tried to RSVP but it says the limit is reached. Looks like there are only 10 folks listed as attending right now. At the top is says 50 rigs allowed. On the attendees list it says 10 of 10. totally understand if you want to keep it small. Just double checking that it's actually full.

    Gazelle T4 Overland Edition

Just setup our new tent in the driveway. Very excited to try it out for real this weekend. Was super easy to setup by myself (and a bit easier with my 9 year old’s help). It seems very sturdy and well built.

Not your typical Overland Vehicle (pics)

I wish I had more shots from his amazing trip. I only have a few print outs that I've scanned. These are all taken in Brazil I think except for the one in the snow which was somewhere in Patagonia. He drove it to Prudhoe Bay (from Los Angeles) then turned around and drove to Terra Del Fuego...

After nearly two years of painstaking rebuilding it looks like we'll get the truck back next week! Then we start on the overlanding build out This is what rock-sliders are for! Especially with a truck this wide. LOL
