What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Drove it to Dirty Parts and didn't spend any money!!! I was just there to trade in a dysfunctional ARB Tire Deflator that had a slight bend in the piston rod (Found that out comparing it to @FrankRoams identical deflator).

    Are You an Overlander?

Thanks first of all, for the clarification, or explanation of the general idea that anyone can do this. That's what I love best about the community. Also, thanks for giving a glimpse into your friend David's talents. I'm gonna be buying some of their music now. Really liked it. Hope it can...

Pelican Case Idea/ Kitchen Kit / What's your setup

Shoe Goo is kinda pricy compared to a caulk tube of quick drying silicone. Keep that in mind. You'll also have cleaner application using the fine tip. Check your local hardware store. I can 3rd the Pelican lid dividers. The zippers are all YKK, and the mesh will hold up, as long as you are...

    ARQ4wd 270* awning

Could anyone chime in on how they went about choosing their bracket mount locations, and how they executed it? Did you do anything to make the hole water resistant?

    ARQ4wd 270* awning

Probably could. Just practice caution, as this is an upright pole free design. If you add extra weight to the aluminum extensions, it could do some bending you don't want. Could be a good idea to add aftermarket uprights, in order to add any weight.

    Carrizo Plains San Andreas Fault

I had some friends go up there a few weekends ago. They were all blown away. I gotta make it out there soon, before the flora melts.

    ARQ4wd 270* awning

Good thing I did my search fu, before starting a new thread. I got my ARQ90 in a few days ago, also sans that cool little laser cut hardware box. But all my hardware was accounted for. The brackets are atrocious, and I'll definitely be using something totally different. Probably gonna switch...

Get Over it!!! (Overland Humor :-)

Hahaha, no - but that's funny to picture. Now I'm realizing I typo'd and wrote YJ instead of ZJ. Whoopsie. I drove it into a water crossing that was a bit out of hand after "El Niño" back in 2005 (I think). Apparently "Chief" was thirsty, because he guzzled up some water half way through. I...

US West Red Canyon Jeep Trail & Bradshaw Trail (Chiriaco Summit to Blythe, CA)

This past weekend @Frank'sRoaming, my brother, a friend and I jumped into the desert for 65mi of off-road fun. The plan was to meet at the General Patton museum off the 10 at Chiriaco Summit Rd. at noon, then jump into Red Canyon, and hightail it to The Bradshaw Trail - an old gold road. Old...
