Had a quick drive through Great Basin NP a couple of years ago. I was on 50 coming back from Wyoming and headed back to Cali and was running out of time so I didn't get to explore much. Just pretty much drove up and back down. Gonna have to sepnd a few more days out there.
Here's some of my...
Anybody up for a San Jose meet in the next couple of months?
I haven't been or put together any meets in a year because of COVID but I'm itching to see some fellow enthusiasts. Shouldn't be much of an issue if we're just meeting in a parking lot and maintain social distancing and wear masks.
Already got my crossed rifles decal and a claymore hitch cover. Covert enough that those who weren't in that life wouldn't know about it but instantly recognizable by fellow vets.
Sorry guys, I haven't been on these forums in a while so I couldn't see your questions but it looks like y'all got it figured out in the end.
So how'd your run go? How's the roads?
Thinking of going back out there myself in the next month or so.
Have you guys had enough of my dog yet? What am I saying... of course not!
Took Tioga Pass to get home. Pretty sure it's a crime to drive by Yosemite Valley and not spend a few minutes there.

Deer were just...
We went our separate ways the following morning. My friends went off to explore Masonic Mountain, I had water in my mind so I went down to Mono Lake to get my toes wet.
Lunch stop at the world famous Whoa Nellie Deli in Lee Vining, CA for their fish tacos.
I might be a smidge...
Some of my recommendations.
1. IndoMie Instant Noodles - Not to be confused with those crappy Maruchan ramen, these are also boil & go but they taste so much better. You can usually find these in Asian grocery stores. IndoMie is an Indonesian brand but there's Filipino versions also.

What are some of the packaged eats/drinks you enjoy on the road that maybe some of us don't know about?
I do intermittent fasting so my food needs are quite low, I eat maybe once or twice a day when I'm on the road. To that end I never drank the Skottle/Dometic kool-aid. I barely cook at home...
Thanks everybody for coming out! It was nice meeting y’all and checking out your killer rigs. I’ll post some pics tomorrow when I get to a PC.
For those who were interested in my Wyoming trip, I posted some pics here...
