exactly. theyre not really useful for anything other than a minor brush with a rock or whatever either. also, it becomes a PITA to have a bar AND have the f150 tow hooks on there.
I got it to fit. It's a good location. For the longest time, I wanted a brush guard thing, but didnt really like the look, just wanted a place to mount a light bar. Still need a new bumper bar, but it'll do for now. Also used to live in Mooresville, NC. Not too far away from you.
Got my light bar mounted finally. gotta re route my wires and shit later but hey, works fine for now. This bar has made it on 3 different vehicles lol. She fits right at home here too.
3rd gen checkin in here! like it so far! I planned on mounting my light bar to that same support, but I realized it was bent due to my sister running into a light pole with it when she first started driving lol. maybe I can find a new one from the junkyard that isnt bent.
