So I haven’t been on in a couple of weeks, but I’m interested in a meet up to get to know some people. I haven’t actually seen anything planned, so I’m going to put my own place out there as a meet and greet. I have lots of parking in a unique part of Lorton, VA. Big fire pit and lots of...
Yeah, same here and learn some trails. Hard to know where to go sometimes. I am also planning on a 2-3 month cross country trip in a couple of years and learning up on routes...just read a thread today on the Trans American Trail (TAT) and think that will be the trip west for me.
Looks good, I have almost 7,000 miles on mine since the last week of August! haha. Your set up looks good, do you have a list for your build? I have a white Rubi manual...went with Procomp wheels and Milestar Patagonia MTs (35") to replace the stock wheel and tire, an "Upper Decker" bed...
If you click on the tab "badges" at the top, it explains how the points and rankings work. I don't think they are for everyone...some care and some don't I'm sure but it pretty much lets members know who is active and who is not I think...bottom line from what I can gather is the more active...

I posted my rig in the member's rigs thread, but new to OB...found out about the club at Expo East and looking forward to getting to know some of you and get educated about the overland life. Currently on my 6th Jeep with a 2020 Gladiator Rubicon, running 35's on the stock suspension with bed...
Got it, from what I see, we don’t have any DMV events scheduled, so I will stay tuned. I’m more of a follower than leader in social settings and planning haha (lead too much at work)...but I will come out of my shell if I need to.
So how does the planning of meetups work? I’ve been in a lot of forums and I know sometimes important info can get buried in the back and forth. Do they just get posted here? I saw a winery thrown out, but didn’t see any concrete details.
