    Relentless Fab bumper

It was about a 6 month lead time on the build. It was well worth it. The quality of the bumper is excellent. My guess is they could make something for a Tahoe.

    Relentless Fab bumper

Just mounted my relentless fabrication rear bumper and tire swing. Excellent fit and finish. Not a cheap modification but well worth it. Highly recommend this bumper. Interestingly the weight of the new bumper is about the same as the OEM bumper and hitch.

    US West Mojave Road

Here is a desert tortoise that Papadave and I saw last year literally on Mojave Road near the Mailbox. It was mid April. The Park Rangers are serious about avoiding these little guys. You can see his right in the tracks!

ScorpioVI, I am planning an overnight trip in Big Sur with my 2 sons. I would like to go up to prewitt ridge. I saw your great pictures in your post. Can you share your Gaia track? From what I read looks like a pretty easy route for a well equipped overland vehicle. Thanks, Mastonian

Camper shell or no camper shell?

Excellent point. I had a fiberglass shell and not designed to do much else other than cover the bed. I think your set up sounds great!

    Death Valley Routes

Thanks. That is really good information. Working on getting full armor. As you know, it’s a process. Really appreciate the recommendations. Hopefully with experience I can work up to more challenging routes. I’m not landing for next fall. I’ll record our route and report back.
