Aluminess bumpers are the way to go for these trucks. I have been eyeing one for my 2015 ram 2500 for a while. However, a steel swing out bumper would help add some much needed rear end weight to these vastly front heavy trucks.

I was able to modify the Ram mount HD pole and universal base to perfectly fit a 4runner seat mount. Im not sure what the FJC seat feet look like but I’m sure you could make it fit you’re application as well. Running a 12.9” iPad Pro and almost no vibration.

In the south east US a good saw can be the difference between a great weekend on the trails or being force to head back early. I carry a 18” Stihl MS250 everywhere, some of the trees that fall on the trails in Arkansas need every inch of that 18” bar.

If you’re not into rock crawling, then skip going to superlift and start exploring the Ozarks. Awesome trails and you can go all day without encountering another person. Look up the Union school just north of Dover and in that area is great trails ranging from easy to extremely technical...
Ive been to superlift park a few times. We go through Hot Springs a good bit heading to the Ouachita’s. May even be heading there in a weekends or two.

I like to avoid any additional parts that could cause issues. KDSS just seems like one more thing that could go wrong.
So my 2017 4runner TRD does not have it. Driving it for about a month now and have already put several hundred miles of gravel roads on it, a trip to the mountains, and...
I work in the firearms and ammunition industry so my rig always has an excessive amount of guns and ammo in it. I carry a pistol to be able to fight my way back to my long gun. There's usually a suppressed sbr, or two, floating around the truck. My main carry is a glock 19 w/ surefire xc1...
Canon 5d mkiii
Lenses always in my bag are:
Favorite lens: Canon 24-70 f/2.8 is, great all around
Wide angle: Canon 16-35 f/2.8 is
Zoom lens: Canon 70-200 f/2.8 is, this lens is pure magic, it's bulky and heavy but the images it produces it worth the weight.

I may be a be a bit of a fanboy to Arc'Teryx but their stuff flat out is bomb proof, Marmot is my second go to with both companies using Gor-Tex material. The Arc'Teryx Alpha SV is my heavy duty jacket I use for alpine climbing and snow sports, it is expensive at $500+ but it is consistently...
I've been using an Oz-tent RV3 for about a year now on a regular basis, about 1-2 weekends a month. Some people get confused about tents categories when talking about tents, they compare the oz-tent to backpacking tents and say look how big and heavy it is. The Oz tent is a base camp...
When I first got into the "overlanding" scene I carried a big ice chest with me. I did that for a few trips and quickly made the transition to an engel 45 fridge/freezer. The biggest disadvantage to an ice chest is you only have about 1/2 the capacity of the cooler of useable space, the other...
