I feel that the best overland vehicle is whatever you can get your hands on that will get you out there on an adventure and back safely!

    Buck Creek (Pierce County), or....?

I was there on the 16th. Wasn't bad for me it should be no problem for you. I think they kinda keep it semi maintained all season for the airstrip. If you want a fire there isn't much to find up there unfortunately, gotta bring plenty of your own. Have fun!

I'm looking forward to another adventure. As usual. This time something a little warmer than the teens would be nice, but not necessary.

I was thinking kinda same as @jgould about the toothbrush if soap doesn't get it all, try rubbing alcohol.

Winter Gear - Must Haves and Recommendations?

I suggest wearing something like a comfortable hat or Balaclava for when you are sleeping to keep your ears and neck from getting to cold, at least keep them close just in case. FYI if you cover your face with your sleeping bag to stay warm, the moisture from your breath can accumulate inside...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

I got a Trasharoo a few days ago with my birthday $. I don't have a spare tire mounted on the rear, so I put it here. Even when full it's barely visible driving. I like it and see it getting used a lot. Sent from my XT1585 using OB Talk mobile app

    Lets see your TARPS

My limb risers are made out of large Para cord connected from the rack to curtain/drapery brackets mounted to the underside of the hood. It's stuff I had laying around. I was going to use cable instead of Para cord, but because the rack is mounted to the bed of the truck and flexes independently...

    Lets see your TARPS

:expressionless: Here is my tarp set up minus the truck. A tarp is a tarp. Think outside no box required.

    Lets see your TARPS

It is a just a tarp. I use it in many configurations. I don't have money for an awning. So I use a multi purpose Tarp. When it goes bad I just get another one. This one has been around several years.
