I’m not seeing it. Took me 7 years to finally come around to the JK/U. I think I’ll keep my 14. If the new J truck which I’m waiting for looks anything like the JL... I will be done with Jeep for a new vehicle. Not a threat, just saying.

A darker color is the best. but a matte/eggshell color in what you have will help a lot. Think a white clear-coat hood.. put a sheet of white computer paper in the same spot as the suns reflection off the hood. you will go from a glaring bright spot to a big dull semi bright spot.

Rite rite. Not to side track the thread. I work a weekend every 5-6 weeks.
Something to think about are the seasonal trails that come open this time of year (closed spring thru fall). The down side is, the hunters out there might not like a group running out there.
