Keep in mind this is a global site with an extremely diverse geographical area with vastly different rules and etiquette. I camp on a beach typically... at a lake that takes over 2 hrs to get to by quads typically or by a hardcore'ish 4x4. I rarely see anyone.... sometimes by quad...

Lockers are a game changer. Most everything else is easy to add/delete yourself. My vote is to always get lockers.... unless the oem lockers are well-known to be crap.

Yep. I tested my buddy heater in my FJ... closed up.. with a CO detector. The buddy heater shut itself off due to depleting the O2.... the CO detector did not activate at any point. The ones jumping up and down spewing emotionally charged posts are ignored for a reason :smirk:

Mountain House foods are consistently decent.... or at least I like them. There are many different brands out there... some higher quality, some lower. A quick search and I found a website with a good rundown on various meals...

Or, wax the entire thing to keep it completely waterproof.... then when ready to light it you crack it to expose the fibers at the crack and light them.

Just grab an extra quilt and toss it overtop of the bag.... should be ok. You'll likely benefit from an extra blanket too. Sounds like you got a pretty good handle on things. I generally don't wear socks in a sleeping bag because it holds the moisture from your feet and then gets cold. Pretty...
