    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

Hard to go anywhere right now that isn't either closed or burning, and the views are limited by the smoke :( Must be August again.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Slowly getting little pieces on the new project. Added the Rugged Ridge dual antenna mount on the back, using a pair of spring mounts and different model quick disconnects so the three foot firestik and the 6 foot flagstik can be mounted out back but only in one way (avoids stupid tired/rushed...

What is the last thing you bought and plan to buy?

My wife sees me looking at jeep stuff and says I am looking at "porn" :) Probably true, either one could cause marital issues, lol.

What is the last thing you bought and plan to buy?

Yep, that is what it stands for. Just bought my "new to me" 2015 Jeep JKU Rubicon Hard Rock last week, and ordered parts the next day. Installed a Vector Off-Road JKE-Dock bar tonight to start mounting the electronics, that thing is solid (UPS loves my house - the wife gets more packages than I...

Sounds like a fun event, will definitely put in my calendar.

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

Yes, the Ram has moved on to new things in life. It really did well for us but we were running into its limitations when it came to overlanding. I really was using it more as a big car than a truck, and so far I am getting close to the same mileage from the Jeep, so gas use is the same. The...

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

Well, given that we have so many closures right now, and since "Bee-atrice" is a J.E.E.P., we are off to do a couple of shop visits (LoLo Overland and MULE Expedition Outfitters) in Portland area to see how broke I can go :) Hope you all have a good weekend!

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

I can't speak for the Facebook crowd, but at least in our local group I would be willing to risk saying we enjoy the links, as validated above by others comments. Don't let a few ruin the day, just avoid the negative people and hang out here with us.

Hard yes, missing antenna yes, about all it’s missing though, pretty loaded.

Thanks Clay! We do too. Need to put on trails soon to get used to it, lots more maneuverable than the truck and has actual 4 wheel drive :) Though the truck did quite well for what it was.

This followed me home and the wife says I can keep it :), well she actually went with me to get it.

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

Not sure what I am doing this weekend, but I am past due to meet up and see people I don't work with :)

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

Hopefully everyone is finding a cooler spot this weekend to beat the warmer air. Finally got out of town for a few hours and into the mountains southeast of Walla Walla today. Quick road report. Tiger Creek road is covered in snow at about the 5300' elevation around NF-40 well short of Kendall...

That might work, or I may have to be in L.A. for work...unconfirmed on that trip yet.

Me too most likely, running behind again (still).

Full time overland rig - Tundra or F-150

Had a few friends with Titans, all loved them, so again, it is more a personal choice, and perhaps a aftermarket choice as well. We can all give you our .02, but at the end of the day looch it is your butt in the seat that counts to you. Best of luck on it and keep us informed, regardless of choice.

I would agree with you LostWoods, and I am not saying that anyone has to do it, but criticizing how people make money or or their credit is not something any of us should do. None of us really need to know each others credit history or income. It does not change that we all are here for our love...

Full time overland rig - Tundra or F-150

All good things, especially in a year as strange as last year. Stay safe and live your life. Thanks for trail cleaning, I do the same and have instilled it in my family, just wish it wasn't necessary, but some people can't appreciate "leave it better than you found it" yet.

Full time overland rig - Tundra or F-150

Hey, nowadays there are bloggers/vloggers making a pretty good living on the road. I am not about to judge how any of us make a living, I am a bit jealous that you get that much time on the trail, but that is only by my own choice. We should embrace that all of us enjoy the same freedoms to...
