Got a few more camp photos
And we had our first rain storm. A day and a half worth lol, I thought we were in the desert?
Awning works well. Tent had been mostly dry. The mattress touches the wall of the tent in a few places where it’s not covered by the fly (or the rain hits at an angle)...
Day 5
Well that almost worked.
The good news is we got camp picked up before the rain. Then we scurried north to Tucson, where we celebrated Valentine’s Day at In n Out.
Next we went to the west side of town where there is a little slice of blm land, a boondockers paradise!
So now we...
Day 4
We got up with the sun and whipped up some breakfast burritos before breaking camp. We had planned to drive to a trail system on the top of Mt Graham nearby, but realized on our drive over that it was under a seasonal closure... so we sadly had to skip that and we headed south to the...
Day 3
Got up and played around in the rocks some more
Then packed it up and headed further west. Camped at the Hot Well dunes. A random hot spring out in the middle of the Arizona desert.
No photos of the pool, we just soaked and watched the sunset before enjoying some incredible...
Day 2
Woke up in our little arroyo, and explored around a little.
Then headed back through and played in some of the tight areas...
Whoops
Then we headed south to Truth or Consequences for fuel, and then headed west through the southern portion of Gila NF to city of rocks...
Day 1
We cruised late into the evening about three hours from SW CO to White Mesa, NM. Setup camp in the dark and hit the hay. The next day we awoke to a lovely backdrop of white and red soils and went to check out the trail system.
Awesome place, sweet trails! Then we took off and...
Hey all,
Just wanted to share our southwest tour. So we happened to find ourselves with a fantastic opportunity, about 3 months off between life events, and decided to do some traveling! The plan has always been changing, but the idea was to spend the first month building a basic camp trailer...
Synthesis is the brand name. 30w, was like 45$ and then a 15$ amazon controller hooked up to a donated old deep cycle. Works nicely, but we have a pretty low demand on the system.
Thank you!
So do you guys drink your beer upside down??
Got some sick photos of the setup at San Lorenzo canyon...
Alright guys, we spent the night in the canyon last night. Awesome, beautiful place! We came in from the Polvadera side, and followed the blm signs in. Pretty straight forward.
There were 4 other groups camped, which was more then I expected for Feb... but it was a Saturday night. I had...
First night in the trailer! Super nice having the rtt, kitchen and extra room.
Working out the bugs, where things will be packed and what not. But so far, it’s awesome! I’ll post a link when I get a trip report going.

Thanks!
Got it street legal, and most of the small stuff finished. Here’s the kitchen side. USB ports and light switches, door seals and cleaned up.
Electrical and storage box turned out nice.
Solar shower and rope lighting.
Getting ready for a shake down run... for the next 6 weeks...
I will report back what I find! From my brief search online, this place is not very well known. Not even on iOverlander... So I am excited to check it out!
Also haven’t heard of this, but after a quick google I am intrigued! We happen to be headed south through Abq and beyond later this week, looks like a perfect camp spot for a night!

Got very distracted working on the jeep. Installed a hydro assist, winch, wired it for 7 pin and brake controller. Then back to the trailer. Got a bunch done, trailer lights are all wired and it goes into the dmv to be inspected tomorrow.
Played with the kc lights to see how they throw...
Finished up some little things on the rack. Camp lights
Solar shower off the back
30w solar panel on the front
Painted the inside
Prepped the outside. Painting soon!!!

Started on the roof rails
Then got the tent up there and mocked up the awning. Had to build brackets for my adjustable poles, and then a bracket to compensate for the offset to avoid the door.

Picked up the lid today, fits good! Building rails for the rtt tomorrow!
Also got the rest of the frame rails bedlined today.
That’s all. Carry on [emoji41]
