HI all, sorry I haven't been as active lately, recently moved, then got a new promotion at work so I've been a little busy. More updates to come for sure :-)
Great, only noise is where backing up at sharp angles (ratcheting) can only really hear it with windows open.
So far I've only ever heard it screach on U-Turns if I gas it to quickly. Happen maybe 4-5times.
I've seen no noticeable tire wear, which I shouldn't because it opens like it should...
Volunteered at a National Park (Rangers) one summer b4 Law Enforcement training.
Learned alot, mostly that I didn't want to do that after all.
I did want to move all over the Country. Which from what they all said, you need to do/be willing to do to get opportunity at better places and jobs...
Got my, Members Welcome box (or whatever it's called lol)
So finally going to get some OB stickers on the Jeep.
Working on an overhead rack to hold fishing poles. Attaches through headliner.
Also looking into water storage, thinking about planning a fishing get away soon.
What if you had it PVC, Schrader valve, and some type of PVC ball gasket? When you opened it halfway or less it might keep pressure longer, with water flowing through small opening.
I've built a pressurized bait cannon b4, and when the valve opens all the way pressure rushes out, but with it...
Lol. Nah.
I'm into Shark fishing, and one Of NOAA's Apex predator programs, the Cooperative Shark Tagging Program sent me that with my start up kit.
Gonna be tagging sharks I catch and release and send them the info.
Good to see another Wilmington guy on here. :-)
And yes you can around catfish lake, Near New Bern, but they did away with a lot of the wheeling trails, mostly dirt roads.
I have a bunch of spare parts, mostly Stock parts left over from when I've done a lift, or replaced this or that. If you can Pick Up in my town (Wilmington NC) they are FREE. Otherwise, I'll charge a $5 fee plus whatever shipping option you would like. (USPS FLAT RATE will be your cheapest...
Seen a similar setup, it was a 2x4 ratchet strapped to or through the wheel. To make almost a shoe or snow shoe for sand. Got to have the fender clearance though.
Well I think the app in general takes up a lot of space, second only to Facebook on mine.
Do to the nature of it idk if theirs a lot @Michael could do to compress it.
Your not gonna like what I have to say then....
But you are, eventually. It's kind of the nature of the beast.
Just be prepared, carry tools always.
If you can't take an entire tool box carry adjustable stuff. You'd be surprised what a pipe wrench can be used for besides wrenching. Lol.
My...
I had a similar issue that end up being a battery cell dead. Long story short don't trust Advanced Auto to check the battery sometimes those guys are space cases.
I thought it was a throttle issue, or fuel pump going bad, would idle low and try to die out at lights, and in park.
New battery...
The Old Man Emu lifts seem to have good reviews for the Jeep ones. I would imagine the quality would be good for any.
Good to see we have a variety on here.
Also good to see people aren't falling into the it's not a designated "offroad" vehicle so it can't do anything.
Many people never take...
Good idea, I've also noticed in playback mode(on the camera it tells these details) or in the photo editors under image properties. Once I get some more in different lighting situations it will be easy to see what works and what doesn't.
