Thanks! My bulldogge doesn’t go on many of the hikes since she’s not really cut out for it but she likes the vehicle trips and camping haha

    Gear and Mod advice

He should have a locking rear with that truck. I thought about disconnecting my sway bars too just haven’t got around to it.

    Gear and Mod advice

That’s what I’m doing/do. Budget wise I feel like it’s the best choice. Would I love to have an awesome bumper with a wench and a huge rear bumper with swing out tire holder? Hell yeah. Can I afford it or do I need it? No haha

Have you looked into that medicine they make for car sickness? I’m not into giving my dogs stuff they don’t need but if you’d like her to go on trips it may help.

    Gear and Mod advice

Build as you go and let your experiences on the trail tell you what you “need”. Most people will tell you it’s plenty capable as is !

    Advice, opinions?

To me that’s one of the main things, aftermarket support and support in general from shops if your traveling. Your more likely to find a part in stock for something like a popular jeep or yota

    Advice, opinions?

Not saying your pointing at me but I’d say in many ways most jeep guys are the same towards Toyota. I personally don’t care what anyone drives because in the end it’s not about that. Jeep, Toyota, Subaru, Rovers, anything really all have reliable stuff and it’s all proven. Reminds me of my...

Thanks I’ve seen videos on YouTube (Last line of defense) channel and he always has his lab in his RTT. Never saw how he got it up there. His tent is on the bed of his Taco so it is lower the the roof but still has a ladder

    Advice, opinions?

For sure drive a few before you take my advice or anyone else. After all it’s all about what appeals to you. For what your looking to use it for Outback, 4Runner, jeep, they will all be plenty capable off-road

    Advice, opinions?

Me personally I don’t buy new. My Taco was used but the wife bought the 4Runner new. Toyota is worth buying new IMO. The resale value is unreal. Look at used ones vs new ones and the price is almost the same. I bought my Taco because it was the only one around in the color I wanted

    Advice, opinions?

Personally I have no issues with Jeep, though I am partial to Toyota as we own a 19’ 4Runner TRD and 17’ TRD OR Tacoma. Comparing the 4Runner to the Rubicon seems fair to me but when it comes to the Cherokee, compass, etc it’s no question going to be the 4Runner
