I have my smittybilt mounted on a leer top. Been there over a year and have had no problems. I have slept up there with my son with no issues or apparent flex in the cap. Trying to figure out my next move for my ranger. May do the same thing till I can afford the alucab canopy camper.

Nope. That was up in New Hampshire on the kancamagus highway. Family road trip several summers ago.

Here is one I took with the a5000.

I have been using sony for a while now. Just picked up a used a6000 body from ebay. Great fast shooting camera. Been very happy with that and the a5000 I started with.

How do you like the hitchgate? Is it the wilco one? I also full size it and love the space provides but have been considering adding the hitchgate to my truck.

I ride a lot in Richmond, Va area. I do it for the same reason I overland and hunt, I like to spend time outside in the woods. I ride a giant advanced xtc. Majority of my riding is xtc style so light and fast is important.

When the trails/destinations are further away I search both forums and YouTube. As I get closer to my travel date I will post questions on forums or through direct message to people who have run the trail or done similar in the area to see what insight they may have.
