Very happy with my Smittybilt. They make a bull bar that bolts to the top of the bumper and protects the winch, haven't got that yet for mine.

Love my XJ!! They're animals off-road and like @Overland-Indiana said, parts are dirt cheap. I do wish they were diesel though...:confused:

They're definitely useful, especially in situations where a high-lift can't be used (or is just too dangerous to be used). Heavy mud, steep inclines, deep snow all come to mind.

Sony Vegas for me! I tried Adobe Premier but couldn't get the hang of it easily. Vegas is very powerful but a bit more intuitive in my opinion. If you're on a mac, then iMovie or Final Cut Pro would be your best option. If I had a mac I'd use Final Cut in a heartbeat. From a...

Was watching Ronny Dahl's channel the other day, he uses a pot with a lid. Puts the lid upside down on the burner and cooks the pizza on the lid. Covers it with the upside down pot to keep the heat in. Thought that was pretty smart - cheaper alternative than a dedicated pizza oven.

Really want to start doing some real overland trips this year. Going out to PA in March to Anthracite, just looking to build up my knowledge and confidence before starting to plan my Trans America trip.
