Quick update, I drove up to Big Bear CA mountains and overlanded Moab/Canyon Lands Utah. You definitely notice lack of power while driving high speeds up the mountains. Off road not much difference except when crawling larger rocks -just needs more gas in 4 low. I will probably re gear since I...
Hey sorry bud we ended up bike riding/hiking once we got to Zion. There were a couple trails but we didn't have enough time to check em out. No off roading allowed inside the park either [emoji51]

You have enough time to do Hells Revenge, it took me about 5 hours to do my first time stock (not much off road experience). This past weekend we did it in 2 hours with a 3 inch lift. Other than that I'm not familiar with their short trails.
Oh also check out Shafer Canyon, doing that first...
Ahh yes the swell was bone dry when we passed through. It went very well!! .. 2 half days, no reservations so we found our own spot to camp, went through a half tank of gas (although I brought extra just in case), we saw 3 other SUV's over that time, definitely worth doing again!

Hi all!.. question. I've been overlanding parts of moab and canyonlands Utah for the past few days. We sleep in the Jeep with the windows cracked (I forgot to buy a bug net for the windows). Some nights have been pretty warm so I've been running my AC at night for hours at a time. Should I worry...

Alright guys. So I chickened out and had the lift installed by 4wheel parts. Here's the pic.. I'm at the tire shop right now getting the new tires and wheels put on, another pic to follow!

So most of the time we show up around 3am when park is closed (we have a wilderness pass we pay annually for so no need to pay each time). Depending on the day campsites are most likely taken.
First night is easy, everyone is seeping that late. Second night I'm lacking sleep and probably did a...
Hey everyone, so I found a Discount Code that took a good 400 off my order. I got my stuff through Northridge4x4 who was able to beat EVERY BODY BY A LOT haha. 4x4 parts said they don't have prices like that even during their good sales that they couldn't get close. Use the code "wranglerforum"...
No worries guys I can use all the info I can get. Slowly gaining knowledge on how everything works. Never been the mr. fix it type guy but my Jeep makes me want to!

So I finally made the decision on my lift. I got the 3 inch teraflex sport lift. https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/3-3-5in-lifts/ter1258400-jk-4-door-3-sport-s-t3-suspension-system-w-fox-shocks
It should allow for higher speeds off road. Right now I'm doing 5-10 on trails everyone else is...
