    Where to camp

Sometimes, if I'm just looking for a place to camp while hunting or mountain biking I'm not necessarily putting emphasis on trails.

    Legal Weapons and Overlanding

I love the little thing, trigger is phenomenal for a factory striker fired compact. The added grip texture can be felt carrying in an IWB against bare skin but isn't too bad. It definitely helps when shooting.

    Where to camp

I look up public land areas in my onX hunt app then Google that specific area for dispersed camping rules.

    Legal Weapons and Overlanding

I carry a shield 2.0 9mm everyday, I also have a 10.5" AR pistol in 300 blackout as a truck gun. I like to bring a couple plinking guns, 22 pistol and/or rifle and maybe a shotgun if I am just camping somewhere I can shoot.

    For you Mountain House fans

I use the long handled titanium sea to summit spork in my hunting kit. The long handled stuff makes all the difference in the world.

    Overland Cooking and Recipes

Forgot about another favorite, chimichurri is awesome on any type of red meat or sandwich and the acidity allows it to keep pretty easily. I like to single serve it into double heat sealed food saver bags.

Hey PA guy looking for trails

Wanted to bump this to add that the old Corydon township unmaintained roads can be fun to explore off of 59 near Rimrock/Morrison hiking trailhead and Mckean Ranger District office. Just drive down 59 between Warren and Bradford and watch for the small travel at your own risk signs.

    Overland Cooking and Recipes

My go-to is anything that can be stuffed in tortillas. Homemade summer sausage, chorizo, breakfast sausage, hot dogs, pepperoni and mozzarella, etc etc. The recipe changes with whatever is in my pack or cooler.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Yes we are, I mountain bike up at Harris Hill often. That sounds like a good idea. I spent all day yesterday working on a fabbed bed for my truck. Looking forward to getting that done. Yes, which is my main motivation for the mild build on my truck...

    New guy from PA

Just joined, I'm east of Erie near the NY border. Lots of great information on this board. I'm in the middle of a mild build on my old DD F150. Looking for it to better support camping/exploring/mountain biking/hunting.
