I agree that I am missing some of the best parts of the country and have been to most of them, the people were great the states were beautiful and I enjoyed visiting them.

Thank you, I appreciate the info, I figured with all that was going on with COVID it would be easy to get a campground, boy was I wrong. Luckily I have a lot of friends who live all over Florida and will let me stay with them, it is not the same but at least it will be warm.

Hello Henry Welcome, you don't need to have all the goodies to enjoy Overlanding, just something with 4 wheel drive or all-wheel drive, I believe the Honda Ridgeline has all-wheel drive and room to make a bed. I find this place and the people on this site are very helpful, have fun and enjoy.

I remember a time not too long ago where the country I lived in was free and for the most part stayed out of our lives. I cant understand why they would feel the need to close down primitive campsites, maybe they are scared you might give covid to yourself.

Why would they close down primitive camping areas, are they afraid you are going to give COVID to yourself?

I might be interested, keep me posted. I am not a winter camper, I like the cold, but not that much, Spring would be nice.

Hi everyone I want to get a rooftop tent and for my 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL and was wondering if I needed to upgrade my stock suspension? The tent will add 160lbs to the roof and I understand it will change the center of gravity, but I am not rocking crawling and I should be ok. Thank you
