The wife and I were going to fly in and out, but at the last minute decided to drive to Santa fe.
This will be a 2 stage trip. The back half we have padded an extra day so we can find some fun backroads and a nice spot to camp.
The first part, we will be coming into Santa FE from Salt Lake...
Alittle update, It will be a few weeks before all the fun stuff gets here.
I added a kenwood headunit.
I took of all the plastic rain guards and ugly steps.
Then went on alittle weekend trip.
I also love 235/55 on the stock trucks and I love 255/85 with a lift.
My last truck came with the new Dick Cepek trail country exp. (Dick Cepek is made by cooper). I really liked them.
I was looking into them for this build and it turns out that there 265/75 actually measures 32" x 10.1...
I found this Gem, a 2 owner 118k double cab with the factory locker in great shape.
Honestly I thought it would take months to find a clean one for a decent price. The guy was moving and needed to sell fast.
With all the big truck craze (which I fell victim too), It feels nice to be back in...
For sale is a 2014 Ram 2500 Power Wagon.
I bought the truck thinking I would love it and I do not. It truly is an amazing truck, but just too much for me.
This truck has firestone airbags in the rear, 5 brand new Dick Cepek trail country exp. tires, bed liner bluetooth, back up camera...
I have not strayed from Cooper in the last 5 yrs. ( I guess since Cooper makes Dick Cepek, I am still not).
Tire Rack is running $150 off Dick Cepek. Thought maybe I would try something new. Just wondering if anybody has any experience with them yet...
I agree building a tundra is a great way to go. I do think in the end it is the more expensive way as well, but you get what you want. It is not out of the cards yet for me.
Do you have a link to your build?
I have always thought that to be true as well.
I think it definitely holds up when considering an older vehicle. The modern equipment on some of the other brands seems really well made.
Thanks for the honest review. I am personally leaning towards the Ram at the moment.
i was trying to view the attachments but they are not showing for some reason
