Lmao, you already had the red rocket!
Nah, mine is like a funky people eater purple with all the clear coat flaking off (thank you 90's clear coats). I have a few pictures up but they're probably buried in other threads. When I start a build thread it'll be easier to show you, I guess.
I'm fine, thanks. It was pretty gnarly though. It happened at the right angle where it squashed my finger pad flat and I had to "rebuild" my finger tip. I have no doubt in my mind if it went perpendicular, my middle finger wouldn't have a tip.
I second the coopers. I run cooper discoverer ATPs and could not be more impressed with them on and off road. The loaner truck I'm driving atm are also coopers; cooper discoverer s/t. I can't say how they perform because it ain't mine to trash but they look pretty aggressive compared to mine...
Nice! I know what you mean though, about the "fixing it" with beer. I have to replace the clutch in my jeep and I already see a 70/30 ratio of staring at it drinking vs fixing it when I do it. Regardless, I am mildly jealous. That's a clean, fun looking rig.
If I had to pick one that bests represents overlanding for me, it would be this:
Forget all the crap you can bolt on. Just a rig, the trail, and your family. However.... after that touchy feely stuff, there's a bunch of that crap I can't wait to bolt on to my own rig, lmao.
