I always liked the price of the Yakima RTT but the reviews have kept me from every pulling the trigger. If Thule is trying to compete, hopefully they maintain the quality but lower the price. Here's hoping lol

When I got my 2018 I asked about that and the dealer said the altitude will effect the MGP. We live in Denver and depending on the speed and length of a drive, I can get 15-21 mpg. I once got 35 mpg going downhill ha, but I paid for it going up that same hill (Rockies)

I have mounted mine, very securely, on my roof rack and other times store it inside the vehicle (Trunk, back seat, etc). I have seen people mount it on their trailers but my concern there is if they get hit by another vehicle. I would keep it above bumper level for that reason. Sorry its not...
