as i'm a big movie fan for the 1968 movie "paint your wagon"...i was wondering if anyone here has done the ride to the movie site?
planning to do next spring/summer for a long weekend.
it might be a lame request, but i need a replacement O ring for the dana 44 ARB differential cover dip stick up top. on replacing the diff fluid it looks like a previously over tightened the stick and crushed the O ring.
maybe home depot has the right size or a silicone ring will do?
cheers, jeff
traveling away from your doorstep as they say, is the best education you could give yourself with a wide verity of different cultures, food and architecture...plus a load of options to explore if you rent a 4x4
ahhhhhh...when it comes to the liberty, i can understand. my friend had one and he loved it till things started to fall apart, one piece at a time. the wrangler i have has been a great vehicle and i've gotten to 145,000 miles on her with only problems coming from that TIP module and carbon...

i have a 2010 wrangler with 225,000 km on her (just under 140,000 miles) and have had issues with carbon build-up on piston 6. i had it cleaned and want to keep it to a minimum from now on. i have heard of a blow-by oil catch can which is installed to the hose coming out of the combustion...
just got the latest letter from FCA letting me know that 2007 - 2010 wranglers has had the warranty changed from the typical 5 years on calipers and brakes hoses to 15 years and unlimited km. i didn't know that the brakes hoses and calipers were causing problems and wondered if its something...
i find if i need something for mechanical reasons or just something aesthetic to enhance my jeeping exprience...i don't care what label is on it. i will for sure do my homework and read reviews and get as much information on other off-roading communities to make sure its the right...
