Another fan of the Suunto Core. I wear mine everyday, it made it through a deployment and a half. Suunto fixed it for free after I broke it. I've had it 5 years, no issues with the band yet.
Having spent a ton of time under those things, I'm not a fan. If you layer it, and leave it up for an extended period of time it would probably be worth the effort but if you're moving daily you'll get over it.
