    Big Rigs, Full Sized Only

Excellent! Good luck with sourcing kings. I got lucky and found a set when I needed them (fall of 2020). try: Filthy motorsports (their guy Ben brazda is a shock genius) Off road warehouse (call multiple locations) Accutune off road Sdhq Down south motorsports (where I got lucky and found...

    Big Rigs, Full Sized Only

Not a Dodge guy, but damn nice looking truck. How do you like those Toyos? (considering these or the Yokohama Geolandar m/t g003's in 35x12.50x17 for my 1500 Silverado)

Haha! That is a good one. ... which actually applies to too many states these days.

    Booted uniballs?

Your own instinct and rho's is spot on - but I'll confidently push you AWAY from uniballs as they are a performance (racing) piece of kit and might be a disaster for your application. Let me tell you why (and my perspective might be shit ;)) the uniballs REQUIRE maintenance and they are...

    Totally New To Overlanding

"Live free or die" Best state motto ever - considering that's coming from an oldish WV guy (montani semper liberi = Mountaineers are always free) is a helluva a compliment. Pleasure to meet you. DP

    Totally New To Overlanding

Welcome from a brother from the Southeast corner of this great nation! I'm also a fairly new guy but there is a ton of great info here and all are happy to help which make this an amazing community. At a high level, you have the right perspective. Get familiar with your rig, understand its...

I appreciate the outreach. I’m usually north of Florida, south of the Mason-Dixon, west of the Atlantic, and east of the Ohio River. If anything is happening in the Carolinas, Georgia, MD, WV, I’m game!

Why are there so few Silverado overland rigs?

Question: Sweet looking and capable rig. I'm going for a similar theme with mine. What 6" lift kit and bed cap did you go with? How much did you need to trim to clear the 35's and are the 35's 12.5 width? Badass hood too. Any work to the engine / performance? Exhaust & intake?

    Big Rigs, Full Sized Only

Early in the build on my '16 silverado LTZ 6.2. Just added kings & deavers, obvious next step is ditching the 22/285-22's for either KO2's or KM3's and 17 or 18" wheels. Should be able to clear 35x12.50's with some trimming.

    dp454so's intro

Hello from the lowcountry! I've been "overlanding" in some form or another since I was a kid and have always loved a good road trip (who doesn't). I'm currently building up my Silverado for adventuring and hooning' and appreciate the insight and perspective and experience on this forum. The...

Why are there so few Silverado overland rigs?

Not a build thread, but I thought I'd share my Silverado update. Put King 2.5's (EXT models) with resi's and adjusters front and rear, Dirt King UCA's, Deaver J1's in the rear. Truck was previously lowered and this lifted it 6" front and rear. It should clear 35's with some trimming. Rides...

Why are there so few Silverado overland rigs?

IMO, for an all terrain, it is hard to beat the BFG AT KO2's. Let us know what you end up going with.

Why are there so few Silverado overland rigs?

Maedge, pardon if I missed it but what type of rack is that? It is a good clean look.
