Traveling is part of it. If you want to meet up with certain clubs, and see other areas in the country. You got to travel! Sometimes it makes for long days and nights, but it's better than sitting at home on the couch. I really hope you have a good turn out. It sounds like a lot of fun!

There is a lot of cool stuff in New Mexico. I will be down In central New Mexico at the first part of Spring Break. I have toured a lot of NM on my Harley, and work in Trinidad, CO alot. It is a neat area. I'll check out that link. I would be down to scout around NM.

That's sounds pretty epic! I know I have to head to Silver City, New Mexico for the first part of Spring Break. That is a long story in itself. @Neal A. Tew and I were just agreeing an adventure would be fun.

I don't have any ideas right now. Was hoping you all had some good ideas. LOL! Going out West would be fun, but you would eat up a lot of your exploring time with road miles for a 3 day trip. 4 or 5 days would be much better. I'm about 6 to 7 hours from Moab. I imagine you are about the...

I wish I could make this. I had plans to be there. Just some unforeseen family stuff came up. I hope the lack of people for this meet up doesn't deflate everyone's intrest. I think this is a great idea to get everyone together and in the outdoors. See new country and make new friends. My...

After busting my butt to get extra time for this. I got roped into family stuff. I tried to wiggle my way out of it, but no luck! My son and I are stuck doing other things for the weekend. This sounds like a blast and I hope you all have a great time!

Give it time! Your kid will want a bike and you will get back into it. Here is my boy from this weekend. He will be 14 this summer.

Thanks for the head up! The little jeep it is.

I sure had fun on the last trip and would love to tag along. Is Schubarth trail similar to the last trip in difficulty? The reason being is I was thinking about bringing my F250 which I am setting up for overlanding. It is pretty capable, but no winch. That is a pretty hefty truck to have...

US Rocky Mountain Rocky Mountain Overland Rally 2020 - July 30 - Aug 02

I was looking for the rally point on this site and couldn't find it. Do you have a link?

I've done both Walmart and then good bikes. I didn't start enjoying bikes until I forked over a little more cash for a good name brand.

Get a good name brand from a local bicycle dealer. A bottom of the line Trek, Specialized, Giant, Salsa, etc. Is going to be far better than Walmart, Dave's, Dicks, etc.. Also you can get it fixed and tuned up. You don't just through them away. If you have a good bike you will enjoy it and...

That's awsome! At least your doing it!

Here are a couple pics. No winching was allowed. I wanted them to learn to unstuck themselves, and figure out with a little work you can do it. We shoveled a lot on these trips but it was fun!

I will have to get the pics off my computer, but my son at 12 last year tore it up in a bone stock 1998 XJ sport. My sons friends dad would drive the XJ out, and when we would get off road we would switch drivers. You would be amazed where a stock rig can go.

I understand. I am the king of procrastination. I love tearing things up, even enjoy wrenching, but am horrible about getting it done.

It doesn't matter what your driving at least your out doing things. Hopefully your repairs are not too bad and fairly cheap! I want to keep building mine up more, but it all costs money. I got to check on my kid, so have a good evening. Stay in touch.

We can wheel all year if you know where to go, but it gets really hard on things. Lots of RPM's and clutch work. I try to stay low (out of the mountains) in the easier areas to save wear and tear. Save that for summer.

Good ole winter time! Only 5 more months of winter so I can enjoy 2 weeks of summer. LOL! At least that is the way it feels some times!
