There’s a bit of it on the pony express. But only across the sections that I needed it to be. I’m not personally the biggest fan of the pony, there’s much better trails out there. But this route should be pretty solid.

I’ve ran a lot of tires over the years I may catch a lot of hell for this but to date my favorite a/t would have to be the procomp a/t sport. They grip like there’s no tomorrow and they wear incredibly. Easily put these above ko2, ridge grapplers, at3 etc and they aren’t priced too badly at all...
They seem to handle whatever weight you throw at em, I have 2 gear pods (packed) a gear pod xl (also packed) 6 rotopax, axe, shovel, fire extinguisher, 4 maxtrax, rooftop tent and a river quiver (4 fly rod holder) and combine all that weight with some proper suspension I don’t even notice any...
